National Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the ten new NITs that have been established by the MHRD of Indian Government during the 11th Five Year Plan. NIT Delhi has earned the reputation of being an Institute of National Importance in India. The aim of the NIT Delhi is to provide the best instructions and research in the various fields of Engineering, Management, Sciences and Art. The very first two years of NIT Delhi after its establishment were carried out at NIT Warangal. Then after, Government of Delhi has provided a temporary base at Integrated Institute of Technology in Dwarka area of Delhi. The institute is a next step to provide the better canvas of the technical studies after the IITs in India. NIT Delhi has a better reputation now in the field of education and taking the innovations to a next level.
Campus-
Presently the academic sessions of NIT Delhi is undergoing in the temporary campus located at the Integrated Institute of Technology which is located in the Sector 9 of the Dwarka Area of Delhi. Wherever the Government of Delhi has located a permanent space for building the permanent campus of the Institute in Narela which is situated at the outskirts of Delhi NCT. Until the campus is not completed, the regular classes of NIT Delhi will run in the IAMR Campus, Narela.
Since the very first batch of NIT Delhi will pass out in the year 2014, so the placement at NIT Delhi has been started. Until now, the companies that visited the campus are as follows-
