About us
The Bhimavaram Education Society was established in July 1975 on the sprawling campus of 10.6 acres with a panoramic and pleasant view. K.G.R.L.D.College was started in the same year with generous contribution of Sri.Kotikalapudi Govindarao. G.T.P.College of Education for women was started in the 1985 with liberal donation of Sri.G.Pedatatha garu. Mentey Padmanabham College of Engineering & Technology was established in the year 2008 under dynamic leadership of Sri Mentey Padmanabham, Ex.M.P., Founder Secretary & Correspondent and other governing body members of the Bhimavaram Education Society.

The Bhimavaram Education Society is planning to carve the Mentey Padmanabham College of Engineering & Technology into a pioneer academic and research institute. MPCET envisions emerging as a high class technical institution whose products represent a good blend of technological excellence and the best of human values.

The Bhimavaram Education society is engaged in imparting quality technical education. It constantly strives towards achieving high standards of teaching, training & development of Human Resources by encouraging its faculty as a team to update their knowledge and skills.

Mission

The Mission is to develop qualified and competent citizens through teaching and training, expand the horizons of knowledge through research, to lend knowledge and support to various organizations for their effective functioning, to contribute to the creation of a happy and healthy society through fruitful interaction with it, and to participate in the development of the society.

Placement

ight from its inception, the Society has been laying more emphasis on teaching, research and extension activities in different subjects. The Institution is well known for its dedicated faculty & staff, state-of-the-art infrastructure and excellent placement. The range of subject departments, courses and programmes were undertaken and promoted during the last……… years, and reflect the commitment in promoting socially relevant and inter-disciplinary programmes. The Society has 7 constituent colleges concerning various conventional and advanced subjects, in order to provide good academic and smooth administrative service to one and all. The Society has been moving forward in achieving academic excellence with a strong commitment and dedicated approach, by clearly setting up of a vision of its own. The initiatives taken by the Society have already started yielding excellent results, in terms of research, extension activities and thus keeping the society on the path of excellence. With a great wisdom, the founder of Mentey Padmanabham College of Engineering & Technology has rightly coined the motto “Wisdom lies in proper perspective” for it. The College has grown excellently from strength to strength over the past three years, as a premier institute of higher learning under the able and committed leadership of Sri M.Padmanabham. It has gone through greater strides in the transformation of the College with acquiring necessary and modern sophisticated instrumentation to catch up with the Global competition in academic and technical programmes.
