Malankara Orthodox & Syrian Church Medical College is established in early 1970. The health centre was materiliazed as a society in order to engage more people to actively participate which eventually resulted in the upgradation of the rural areas of kolenchery in aims in  facilities. The health packages supplied by the hospital aims in preventing disorders from culminating to a major issue. The health packages comprise of a set of comprehensive and detailed examination of the body check up which are specially designed keeping in mind the need for good health. The 24*7 fully equipped and ventilator supplied ambulance makes the hospital much more easily feasible for patients at the difficult hours. Now a day college have total 1050 beds for patients.
