SWARNA ACADEMY OF SCIENCES, VIJAYAWADA (ACADEMY) was established in the year 2007 for the noble cause of imparting high quality technical education in Engineering, Technology, and Management sciences. The ACADEMY is promoted by Sri Muthavarapu Srinivasa Babu, a very dynamic, innovative and enterprising person, committed and dedicated to the cause of education.
SWARNA ACADEMY OF SCIENCES, VIJAYAWADA has instituted its first educational institution “MVR College of Engineering and Technology, Paritala”, in the year 2008, with the state-of-the-art facilities, such as modern computer centre, E-class rooms, round the clock internet facilities, well equipped Labs, workshops, conference cum seminar halls, spacious class rooms with OHP and LCD projectors, digital library, library with rich collection of books, national and international journals. OBJECTIVES OF THE PROMOTING-
The Swarna Academy of Sciences, Vijayawada has the following objectives in starting the MVR College of Engineering and Technology, Paritala:
1. The Institution has been established to impart high quality technical education of higher standard.
2. Develop human resources to improve economic and social scenario of this region.
3. To co-relate theoretical knowledge with practice / industry based applications and promote better interaction with experts and practitioners.
4. To grow gradually and make the institution a center of excellence in the field of higher education.
5. To promote corporate culture among the students and to inculcate the habit of scholarly reasoning.
6. To promote ethical standards and moral values and promote excellence in educational standards besides maintaining harmony in the campus.
The Training and Placement Cell of the campus provides the foundation for the effective and quality functionality and operability of the institution for the upbringing of the students for equalizing the global constraints for getting training for entrepreneurship, business ethics, etc.
The institute also organizes time-to-time guest lectures from reputed colleges and placement drives.
The Placement Cell offers a wide range of programs and resources to the students of MVR College of Engineering & Technology.
The mission of the Placement Cell is to:
Educate students and empower them to become active participants in their career planning and job search.
Facilitate the exploration, clarification, and implementation of students' academic, personal, and career goals.
Charge graduates to continue contributing to the Society and the world at large, integrating their values and ethics into their chosen careers.
MVR Placement Cell concentrates on career exploration, self-assessment, long-term career planning, and developing networking skills, in addition to job search strategies for the short-term. Along with an intense focus on students’ success, the Placement Cell is committed to creating and maintaining positive relationships with corporate employers. MVR- TPC team manages active relationships with companies that recruit students, working to ensure that the recruiting process is smooth, hassle-free and rewarding. In concert with administration, faculty- corporate relations and students, the TPC works continually to bring new companies on-Grounds and to expand existing relationships. The TPC also maintains an intranet that facilitates many technical aspects of the job search, allowing students to manage their search electronically from computers on-Grounds or online. Using the TPC site, students can research companies and contacts, search for employment opportunities, apply for jobs, sign up for company presentations, schedule on-Campus interviews and much more.
