The college was inaugurated on 16th June 2006. Mr. R. Krishnaswamy, Chairman of M/s. Krishnaswamy Educational Trust, welcomed the gathering. Mr. R. Krishnaswamy in his welcome address outlined the objectives of starting this B. Ed. College to provide the Quality Education to the Pupil Educators. Dr. K. Kulandaivel, Chancellor, Avinashilingam deemed university, Coimbatore delivered the presidential address. Mr. A. Elango, IAS, CMD of energy Agency, Tamilnadu cut the ribbon to mark the inauguration of the college. Mrs. Subbulakshmi Kulandaivel and Mrs. Kalamani Krishnasamy lit the kuthuvilakku. Thiruperuthiru Santhalinga Ramasamy Adigalar of Perur Aadhinam and Swami Kusalavanji Adigalar, Perur, offered their blessings. Mr. Pongalur N. Palanisamy, MLA, Coimbatore East Constituency, Dr. N. Markandan, former Vice-ChancelSri  Gnana  Ganapathy Foundation is a trust  instituted by eminent philanthropists and educationists. The Foundation has the honour of having enlightened people at the helm of the affairs and administration. Both the Correspondent of the College Thiru C.K. Sundaram and the Chairman Thiru.R.Krishnaswamy  are noted contractors in road construction and infrastructure development and renowned for their philanthropic activities, especially in temple renovation works.

The Secretary of the Trust and College Dr.K.Kumarasamy , is a scholar of eminence whose credentials are quite impeccable. His rich experience as an academician and education administrator has helped the Institution with quality concept. He was Director of Collegiate of College Education, Govt. of Tamil Nadu and Member of NCTE, SRC, Bangalore. His contribution in the field of higher education is evergreen  and he has represented the Government of Tamil Nadu   in the capacity of a Member of Syndicate of Madras University, Bharathiar University, Bharathidasan University, Annamalai University, Periyar University, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Mother Therasa University and Madurai Kamaraj University.
