Ismail Yusuf College of Arts Commerce & Science, Mumbai was established in 1930. The college is managed by Government of Maharashtra. Ismail Yusuf College is one of the oldest Colleges in Mumbai and started with a big treasure-trove of donation from Sir Mohammed Yusuf Ismail on the Jogeshwari Hill admeasuring 54 acres approximately. The foundation stone was laid by Sir Leslie Orme Wilson, Governor of Bombay in 1924.
The College offers instruction in Arts, Science and Commerce from XI standard to graduation. Ismail Yusuf College has the facility for M.Sc also. Relevant to the fast changing industrial, economic, commercial and social requirements of the society, degree courses is offered in computer science etc. for Science students. The College has a separate Poor Boys Fund and Book Bank which help the poor and needy students.
