Placement

 While stressing the need for further academic endeavour, Disha- The Placement Cell of Hindu College, provides the students with an opportunity to work, if they so desire. The cell organizes Seminars and Workshops on career-related matters and conducts Placement Sessions from time to time. The placement cell also provides for the student to get selected right from campus so that they can avoid the struggle to find a job on their own.

 
Disha attracts a number of companies every year from the various sectors. Recently, there has been an increase in bluechip companies as students from Hindu College display good education backgrounds, and hence, can be used in this sector after adeuate training.

WOMEN'S DEVELOPMENT CELL
 
Women's Development Cell (WDC) of the college plays an active role in making the students aware of the problems faced by women and suggest ways and methods for their development in society. WDC sensitizes the college community on issues pertaining to women's rights, gender parity and empowerment.
 
The cell takes the initiative in organising seminars, workshops, debates, street plays, film screening etc. WDC welcomes both girls and boys as members.
