Hans Raj College was built on July 26, 1948 in memory of Mahatma Hans Raj, the founder of DAV College Lahore. Hans Raj College is a constituent institute of Delhi University. In its sixty years of existence, the college has gained high reputation and is one of the premier colleges of Delhi. The college is a centre of attraction and has well eqquiped libraries and laboratories. A Placement Cell is also there which is headed by highly qualified faculties of the college. They help in guiding students in their career prospectives.
