Hostel Details: At present the institute has 1 boy’s hostel that can accommodate about 360 students. A new boys hostel is under construction which can accommodate a further 100 students. The rooms are double and triple seated. All the rooms are equipped with tables, chairs, wardrobes and bed. The hostel is provided with Water Coolers fitted with water purifier. The community-living in the hostel provides the students their social, recreational, emotional, intellectual, cultural and spiritual needs. Centralized cooling facility is available in hostel. The girls hostel is however located in the Kota city. Bus facility is provided free of cost to the hostel girls. The girl’s hostel is also provided with modern amenities.
Laboratory Details:GIET is equipped with high-quality labs that cater to the needs of the students, by providing a hands-on experience of working on industry level equipments. This readies the students to face the demanding situations arising in the industry, from the first year itself. GIET has computer laboratories for various disciplines like parallel machines, operating systems, database systems, networking protocols and multimedia. These labs are a constant hub of activity.
Library Details:A computerized library spread over 7000 sq.ft.Is enriched with the collection of 25,000 books and publications in different disciplines and other allied areas in more than 3000 titles. It also provides literature on personality development, ethics and research support to the students. It subscribes more than 150 national, international, e-journals and magazines. Computerized library enables the users to use electronically for getting information on availability of required books. The library remains open for twelve hours on all working days. Institutional Membership of DELNET (Developing Library Network) enable the user to get access to the collection of thousands of other member libraries. With its broad collection of information resources and innovative information services plays a vital role in the intellectual pursuits of academic community.
