Government Medical College Kottayam is a leading government medical college which is located in the state of Kerala. The Govt. Medical College hospital at Apoorkara came into the existence and started functioning in the year 1962 as the 3rd government medical college in the state of Kerala. Several other institutions are attached to this medical college whose names are Medical College Hospital (MCH), Institute of Child Health (ICH) and Nursing College (CNK), Kottayam. The students of the Govt.
