It was established in the year 1961 by the best efforts of Mr. S.K Das of Drawing and Painting department. In the year 1986 the graduation and post graduation of applied Arts and drawing. It is affiliated to Indra Kala Sangeet University. Earliear it was affiliated with AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education), Bhopal. In the year 1986, the degree course has been transfrred to the the language and sanskrit department of government of MP and after 17 years it has been recognized as Mahavidyalaya and tranferred to the higher education department. TYhe college has the aim of providing high quality education in the field of Fine Arts by providing them highly qualified and experienced faculty. It also provides good educational environment to the students. It has well established excellent infrastructure including all the modern facilities which are necessary for the students for their comfort and for their bright future.
