This government college wsa established in 2004 in the wake of Chief minister intention of having an engineering institutes in all region of the state.Thi government colleg has so far held its own in midst of so many private colleges around the region.The student intake is strictly on basis of merit.In addition meritious students are awarded scholarship for futher studies.
