Rohini Educational Society, made a humble beginning with Gitarattan Jindal Public School in the year 1988. The society was started 23 years ago with the objective to provide quality education and to cater the ever-changing demands prevailing in the education sector.

In 1988
Gitarattan Jindal Public School, Co-ed, Senior Secondary (Recognized and Affiliated) was started on 2nd May 1988. The School has carved a niche for itself in education firmament of Delhi.
In 1992
Gitarattan Institute of Advanced Studies and Training "(GIAST)" was formed. The Institute started its first professional course Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) approved by NCTE and affiliated to SCERT.
In 1998
Kiddy Paradise, a day boarding School, for the tiny tots was established.
In 1999
GIAST came up with Elementary Teacher Education (ETE), yet another Teacher Training course. In the same year, GIAST also started Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), the first course, Recognized and Affiliated by GGSIPU, Delhi.
In 2004
giBS was started in 2004 with the objective of providing leaders to the society. Masters in Business Administration (MBA), a two year program, Recognized and Affiliated to GGSIPU, Delhi was started.
In 2005
giBS accomplished yet another milestone by introducing BBA, BBA(CAM) and Journalism courses, Recognized and Affiliated to GGSIPU, Delhi.
In 2007
giBS made a proud record of having over 40 companies in the Campus for the Campus Placement of MBA (2005-2007). giBS obtained Masters in Computer Applications from GGSIPU, Delhi. It also got an approval of 30 more intakes in the MBA program.We also got approval from AICTE for MBA (Part time). giBS Introduced new course MCA with an intake of 60 while the intake of MBA was increased to 90.
IN 2008
Yet another course added MBA (PT) with an intake of 60.
IN 2009
Prestigious MBA (International Business) Part Time course introduced with an intake of 60 and the intake of MBA (FT) increased from 90 to 120.giBS shed its entire UG course. Despite of economic slow down and large number of organizations closing their doors for fresh recruitment and resorting to issue pink slips to the existing staff, it was heartening to have over a dozen of companies visiting the institute and over 80% students placed in reputed organizations.
IN 2011
The Institute increased the intake for MBA (Full time ) to 180 students from academic year 2011-2012.
