The Advisory Board
Includes individuals from accomplished and varied backgrounds, converging to design better futures for FIIB. The Executive Director of FIIB is Ms. Radhika Shrivastava. Since 2005 Ms. Shrivastava has been associated with FIIB providing strategic direction and vision to the Institute. Prior to that, Ms. Shrivastava worked with the International Finance Corporation (private sector arm of the World Bank) for over 8 years as an investment professional responsible for IFCs investments in the manufacturing sector. Her investment projects varied from simple project finance transactions and portfolio monitoring to complex management buy-outs and early stage venture capital financing. She was responsible for some key IFC investments in Nigeria, Bhutan, Philippines, Madagascar, China and Vietnam. Ms. Shrivastava started her career with the global consulting firm Deloitte Consulting helping clients on issues related to business process reengineering. She is a summa cum laude from Tufts University, MA with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, and holds a PGDBM from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore.

Placement

This process is usually conducted from the month of November onwards. Companies send their job postings to the FCD to be advertised within campus. The posting should have the following details:

Post sending their requirements, most companies choose to conduct a Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) so that they can interact with the students. This is followed by scheduling of participating companies for placements by allotting day and time when they can begin their recruitment process. The entire selection procedure of a company has to be carried out within the time frame allotted to them. Companies may invite CVs of interested students and shortlist students on the basis of their profiles before coming on campus.
