Dr. Sampurnanand Medical College is also known as Dr. S. N. Medical College which is located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The medical college is a government medical college which is managed by the Medical & Health Department, Govt. of Rajasthan and was established in the year 1965. The medical college is one of the most favourite institutes that are selected by the candidates after clearing exams like CBSE and RPMT. Apart from this, a large number of patients are referred to this medical college in the state which constitute around one-third of the total population of the state. A total of 75 students took admission in the very first batch of the institute in July 1965 but the number increased to around 250 every year from the day of the establishment. At the present day, the college offers 21 postgraduate courses for 111 students every year. There are some hospitals which are attached to the medical college whose names are the Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, the Umaid Hospital, the Mathuradas Mathur Hospital, the Kamala Nehru TB & Chest Hospital, and the Psychiatric Hospital.

The campus of the college is located in the urban area of the Jodhpur city of Rajasthan. The S.N. Medical College is located on the Residency Road, Sector D, Shastri Nagar, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The medical college gives several modern day facilities to their students and also a world class service is provided at the hospitals to the people visiting the hospitals. The college has a large auditorium, a council hall, library, lecture halls with audio-visual facilities, laboratories and dissection hall for the Anatomy students. Along with this, the college campus has made available various sports facilities to make their students lead even in the field of extra-curricular activities at the state.
