D M College of Arts was established in the year 1946. The college originally started with Arts stream only. Later college introduced Science and Commerce streams during 1951-1954. Due to the growing size of classes, D M College was divided into D M College of Arts and D M College of Commerce in the year 1996. In the year 2006, the college celebrated its Diamond Jubilee. The college is also accredited by NAAC and was awarded 'B+' grade. The college has produced a large number of intellectuals, academicians and many outstanding individual, who help in the development of Manipur society. College faculty member provide best study material and help individual student in solving problem.  In addition to this, the college also provides many facilities to its students like a well stocked library, hostel facility, IGNOU study center and many more.

Candidates must securing 45% marks and bove at 10+2 level or its equivalen exam.
