The Chouksey Engineering college was established in 2001. It was the first engineering college established in Bilaspur. The Chouksey Engineering College provides an excellent blend of graduation, post-graduation and diploma courses. Amongst the various engineering courses it has Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. The courses are PCI and AICTE approved.
The CEC aimed at modrnizing the techinque of education by implimenting the new technoloogical gadjets and facilities. The college has an eminent infrastructure which includes central library. wi-fi campus, digital class-rooms, auditorium, sports room and facilities, canteen and transportstion facility and separate hostel facility for both boys and girls.
ADMISSION CRITERIA
The students are admitted into the college on the basis of their CGPET and JEE results and eligibility criteria. Interested students may also register online for admission by paying a registration fees of Rs 1000.
The trainind and placement department is an integral and important part of the CEC. The training for placement for the final year students is carried out throughout the year. The CEC aims at providing the best for their students so that they can prove themselves in the placement process. The students are selected on the basis of their performance in the on-line test, written test, group discussions and personal interviews.
