Chirala Engineering College, is the brain child of GSR &TSR EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY started by a team of young and dynamic academicians and technocrats. The college was started with a vision to impart quality technical education to the rural areas and to produce engineers with outstanding technical skills.
This College was Established in academic year 2001 by GSR & TSR Educational Society and is the first engineering college in the prakasam district(AP) to achieve the ISO 9001 : 2000 certification. Affiliated to JNTU, Kakinada and elected as Jawahar Knowledge Center by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
