It was established for MBBS degree courses in the year 2001 with intake od 100 medical students under Guru Ghasidas University Bilaspur C.G founded by State Goverment of Chhattisgarh which is run by the State University under Ministry of Higher Education. It's vision and mission is to develop as an innovative dynamic and independent medical institute dedicated to provide excellent medical education as well as the best health care. It has excellent, highly qualified and experienced professors for the better education of students. It has well established infrastructure including various facilities which are necessary for the students.
