Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University (CSM) Lucknow which is also known as the King George's Medical University Lucknow was established in the year 1911. The CSM Medical college of Lucknow is ranked at 4th position out of 345 medical colleges in India. The medical college is located in Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. The institute is affiliated to the UGC and is known for the excellence in the field of medical education. The history of the college is also very long which started with a dream of the Maharaja of Vijaynagaram in the year 1870. With the continuous changes to it, the institute developed to a complete expansion step by step. At present, the institute offers both medical as well as dental courses in the campus.

The campus of this top institute lies in the city of Nawabs, Lucknow which is the capital city of India’s most populated state, Uttar Pradesh. The complete campus of the institute is spread over an area of 100,000 square metres. The campus is located only 5 Kms away from the Charbagh Railway Station. Having a campus of around 100 years of history, the campus of CSM Medical College has all the facilities and modern day technology embedded within it. The campus owns a bank, cafeteria, post office, Public Call offices and several other facilities to make learning easier.
