Central University of Rajasthan was established in February 2009 by an act of Paliament, the central universities act 2009. The university was started from Jaipur. It introdused 2 PG programmes for the year 2009-10 named as M.Sc/MA Statistics(Actuarial) and M.Sc. Tech.  It was fully founded by the government of India. the main vision of the Central University of Rajasthan is to become one of the leading university of the world providing world class high quality education to their students. It offers various under graduate and post graduate courses. It's mission is to work with the sense of commitment towords the educational, cultural, economic, environmental, health, social advancement of the region. It facilitate accessible and affordable quality education for the students with professional skills, moral principles and global perspectives. It provides highly qualified and experienced faculty to their students. It conducts various extra-curricular activities for the over all development of the students.

It provides various opportunities to students so that they can grab what they want. It has it's placement cell which helps students in their placement related activities by all possible way. The faculty assigned for the students to help in their placement activities are highly qualified and experienced. They conducts various pre-placement activities to train students for their better future placement or to get them aware about the placement process.
