Birla Institute of Applied Sciences, Nainital was established in the year 1969 by Mr. B.M. Birla. Initially, the college was affiliated to Kumaon University. Later, the college got affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University. The college is spread over 10 hectares of land. The main mission of the college is to provide highest level of technical education to empower the youth. The college offers B.Tech full time course and a three year MCA course. The college also provides many facilities to its students like hostel facility, mess for both boys and girls, a well stocked library, computer laboratories, PCO, cafeteria and many more.
