History
College started in the year 2001 with the following programmes –

    Computer Science and Engineering
    Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
    Information Technology

All with an intake of 60. Two new branches namely Mechanical Engineering and Electronics Engineering were added from 2006-07 with an intake of 60 each. The Bharati Vidyapeeth college of Engineering is a private, self financing institution. The college is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. The approval no is F No. 740-89-003 (NDEG)/ET/2000 Dated 28/6/2001.

An additional intake of 60 was introduced for branches Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from academic year 2010-2011. Second Shift for Computer Sciences and Engineering and information Technology was also introduced in the same academic year.
