Bharathair University was established in February 1982 at Coimbatore by the Governement of Tamil Naduunder the provision of the Bharathair University Act, 1981. It was established with the motto of providing high quality education with good educational environment. It's mission is to become a innovative, inclussive and international university, commited to excellence in teaching, research and knowledge trasfer. It's another mission is to impart knowledge and skills to students and to provide equal opportunity 5o women students. This university has 104 affiliated colleges, 92 arts and science college, 2 university college, 12 management institutes and 1 Airforce administration college. There are also 25 research institute of the state and central government recognized by University of Research Purpose. It's vision is to provide higher education to the youth. It's aim is not only to impart the quality education and skills but also to mould students with better conduct and character committed to the societal needs and national development. Apart from thse it also has a well established infrastructure including all the facilities which are necessary for the students for their comfort and bright future.

Placement

The institute has excellent placement record. An exclussive placement wing in the school of management caters to the requirements of students. Placement cell coducts various training programs and workshops for the students to train them for their future placement or to get aware them about the placement process so that they could easily face their future challeneges like interviews through major organizations. Most of the students for the last year got placed in reputated organizations according to their skills and eligibility at different profiles.
