Bhai Gurdas Institute of Engineering & Technology was established in 2002 under the aegis of Bhai Gurdas Technical Education Trust. It aims at setting the students on the road that lead them to realize their dreams of reaching the apex of their career. BGIET opens up new vistas of career opportunities for our students through its associations with various international universities including Wayne State University, Detroit, USA; Pittsburg State University, USA, Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok; Washburn University, Kansas, USA and Indiana Wesleyan Online University, USA under the student and faculty exchange program. Excellence has always been the hallmark of BGIET and with a dint of sheer hard work, tremendous growth and laudable achievements it has emerged as an epitome of learning and is setting benchmarks for others to follow.
MEGA JOB FAIR-2010: 17 reputed National & Multinational Companies participated in the two-day ‘Mega Job Fair’, organized at BGIET Campus. About 2500 students from several prominent technical and professional institutes of Punjab and neighbouring states participated. The selected students were offered an attractive annual pay package of 1.5 to 4 lacs.out of the 324 short listed students 178 selected students were given offer letter on the spot while for the rest of the students offer letters will be sent with in a week. It is worth mention that out of which 105 students were from BGIET and BGIMT.
