Bengal Institute of Phamaceutical and Science was estanlished by Bengal Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Trust which is a public charitable trust with a social commitment. It was established with the motto of ooviding high quality education or to fulfill the need to start an ideal learning center for natural drugs for the requirement of Ayurvedic industries, Research organizations, Govts' legal cell etc. It is situated at Kalyani. It provides excellent opportunities for students to sit in classroom which is sorrounded by good educational environment along with various medicinal plants. It is recognized with the Department of Health and Family welfare, Government of West Bengal and it is affiliated to Jadavpur University Kolkata. Apart from these it has well established infrastructure equipped with well class rooms, laboratories, Libraries, Medicinal Plan Garden etc. for the comfort of students and their bright future. It also conducts the extra curricular activities for the overall development of students. It has well qualified and experienced faculty who are available for 24 hours for helping the students. It also conducts the extra clsses or guest lectures by the faculties from other higher institutions.

It has it's well established placement cell which provides lots of career opportunities to the students to fulfill their dream to be placed in reputated organizations. There are many major organizations or companies who come to recruite students according to their eligibility for the relevent profile like- Emami Limited, Parampara Ayurved, Himtaj Oil, Natural Herbs, Rekha Davakhana, Vetmet, AGA Chemical, etc. They recruits students every year from this college at the higher packages.
