Bansal Institute of Engineering & Technology has been established under the aegis of Meerut Education & Research Foundation with a vision to facilitate world class Technical education. This trust has been established by its trustees Mr. Vinod Bansal & Mr. Pramod Bansal for the benefit of society & also to ensure the state of Uttar Pradesh is to be rated amongst the top in the field of Technical education . Bansal Institute of Engineering & Technology is approved by All India Council Technical Education(AICTE) & affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow.
This institute has very good placement record. In 2009 600+ students had been placed in various multinational companies.[citation needed] In 2010 there has been a number of placements with record high package of 4.15 lacs/annum offered by BMC Software. In 2011, 151 of the institute's students were placed in TCS[citation needed] Some of the MNC's visited are- Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Fiserv, Tech Mahindra, Geometric, ATS, Zensar Technologies, Uttam Galva Steels, Balco, Adani Power, Indian Army, Patni, Wipro Technologies, HCL Technologies, iGate, BMC, GlobalLogic, Capgemini, L&T.
