bcetw was established in 2009 by a renowned industrilist Shri S. k. sharma. it has become one of the primer engineering instituion of west bengal and is the first engineering college exclusively for girls in the eastern region of India. its main vision was to impart quality technical education and to prepare women engineers to face the hard core growing society.
