It was established in the year 1945 under the guidance of Madrasa School Trust. Shri Burjorji Pestonji Baria took the initiative to start the science faculty in 1946. In the year 1965 the science college is seperated and was named B.P Baria Science Institute. It is affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University which is formaly known as Gujarat university. It's main goal is to provide such environment which is necessary for the students with the proper atmosphare so that they can study well. It's motto is to provide such environment for the students for educational, mental, social and spiritual upliftment to all round development of students. It's aim is to make each and every students as a good citizen having human values. This college is stands or known for it's excellent performance in studies. It gives the best result so it is one of the best college of Gujarat. It has highly qualified and experienced faculty for the students.

They conduct various pre-placement activities to train the students to get placed in good organizations.
