Dr. R. P. Jain , the Director of B.M.I.E.T , was the Founder Director- Principal of C.R. State College Of Engineering, Murthal, Haryana Government Institution. He was deeply involved in the planning and execution of various development activities of the college.

The institute was established in 1999 by Bhagwan Mahaveer Education Trust with the objective of creating a center of excellence in the field of technical education at Sonepat.It is affiliated to M.D. University, Rohtak and approved by AICTE.

 

 

Bhagwan Mahaveer Institute of Engineering & Technology, Sonepat was established in 1999, under the guidance of Bhagwan Mahavir Education Trust, with the objective of imparting high standards of education in the field of engineering and technology. The college is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, to conduct several courses at multiple levels. Bhagwan Mahaveer Institute of Engineering & Technology offers technical education in various disciplines at undergraduate and postgraduate level along with a postgraduate course in Business Administration.

(Electronics and Communication) commenced from the session 2008-09.The Institute is starting BBA/BCA Courses w.e.f. academic session 2010-11
