was the vision of Seth Om Prakash Gupta, a successful flourishing business man of Faridabad and founder Chairman of Bhawani Shanker Anangpuria Charitable Trust whose efforts brought riches to the family. Being a true eldest son of Hindu Undivided family he gives credit of this achievement to God and to the blessings of his elders. He with his philanthropic spirit established the Trust in 1992 in commemoration of his forebears, especially his father Lala Bhawani Prasad Gupta and his grandfather Lala Shanker Lal Gupta, born and brought up in Faridabad, with the objectives to support places of worship, charitable hospitals and to establish, built , maintain and manage Educational Institutes for the promotion of knowledge and research in arts, science, engineering, technology, management and all other fields of knowledge, irrespective of class, caste, colour and creed.

 

Committed to the mission and objectives, the Trust has been actively participating since a decade in supporting other organizations involved in the welfare activities purely for the social cause. Besides it is also helping the society at large in various ways viz., awarding scholarships to the meritorious students, fee concession to the needy, promoting deprived section of society, rehabilitate the victims, etc.

 

A firm believer in the philosophy of Bhagwat Geeta, Seth Om Prakash Gupta is deeply touched by the teaching of Bhagwan Krishan, who says:

 

With this delightful thought, strong vision, faith of trustees, good wishes of his family members, friends and blessings of his elders he took the Bhawani Shanker Anangpuria Charitable Trust boldly a step ahead and ultimately entered in the field of Education particularly at higher level and established the first milestone i.e. “B. S. Anangpuria Institute of Technology & Management “(B. S. A. I. T. M.) in the year 2001 for imparting instructions at Under- graduate level in the field of Engineering. In short span of time for its quality education the Institute earned good reputation as one of the leading Institutes of Haryana. Overwhelmed response from the students has made this journey more inspiring & challenging, so to meet the aspiration of the youth for quality education and keeping in view the demand of surrounding area and the global market, new professional courses at Post-graduation level such as M. C. A and M. B. A were introduced. Open-door policy of Management has created a cordial relation amongst the staff and the students and together we blossomed as Anangpuria family.
