It was established in 1985 by the governemnt of Tamil Nadu as a Telugu Linguistic Minority Engineering College. It is affiliated to university of Madras and Approved by AICTE. This college is managed and sponsered by Meenakshi Ammal Trust and the members of the trust are related with the field of education and administration. It was established with the motto of poviding knowledge and skills and develop the talent of students. The council of Governement, A technical committee, and A manageing committee helps to manage this college. The motto of this college is to the noble development or enhancement of quality education in our country. This college focuses on to train the students and make them capable to compete the competition in all over world. They focuses on providing quality bades education with educational environment. It provides highly qualified and experienced faculty for the better future of students. Apart from these all it has well established infrastructure including various facilities for students.
