Annada College was established on 4th Sept 1979. This college is a self-financing (Bengali) minority college. The college is affiliated to Vinoba Bhave University. The college offers undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce and Science streams. The college initially started with less than fifty students, presently the college is having more than five thousand students on roll. The college also offers vocational course in Office Management and Secretarial Practice. The college also provides many facilities to its students like well furnished college building, a well stocked library, fully ventilated classrooms, laboratories eqquiped with modern instruments.

Placement

It has good placement record as most of the students of this college got placed in good or reputated organizations according to their skills or eligibility. It provides various opportunities by coducting various interviews for them throgh the major organizations. It has it's placement cell which helps students in their placement related activities by all possible way. The faculty assigned for the students to help in their placement activities are highly qualified and experienced. They conducts various pre-placement activities to train students for their better future placement or to get them aware about the placement process.
