AUC-ROT is a technological university located at Tiruchirappli, Tamil Nadu. It was establised in 1 feb. 2007 as a result of a decision to split Anna University of technology. The university is an accreited university with power to grant affiliation ton colleges and universities conducting graduate and post graduate studies and diploma courses also which is recognized by the UGC. It offers higher education in Engineering, Technology, Management and allied science. It also offers post graduate courses to teach in different colleges to enrich their academic career through MBCBS(Modular Based Credit Banking system). This regional office started it's functioning from 1st Aug 2012.
It has good placement record as most of the students got placed of this college according to their skills. This university gives their all efforts in providing the better opportunities to students so that they can get placed in reputated organizations. Placement Statics for the year 2012-13 is as-67% of students got placed from BE department, 12% from Civil, 9% from Mechanical, 29% from ECE, 19% from EEE, 17% from CSE. Over the past 3 years the major companies have been recruiting the students from this university like- Congnizant, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys and HCL etc.
