Alwar Institute of Engineering & Technology was founded in 2004 under the aegis of IET Group of Institutions, pioneer and leaders in professional & technical education in Rajasthan. IET Group of Institutions under the able leadership of Dr. V. K. Agarwal, the visionary and an educationist parexcellence has set high standards for quality education. Visualizing the contemporary requirements for sound technical education in the growing Indian economy, Dr. V. K. Agarwal, the Chairman, MBBS, DCH, MBA (U.K.), along with Dr. Manju Agarwal, Executive Director, (MBBS, MBA) & Mr. sanjay P. Garg have set new standards, given new dimensions to professional & technical education for more than a decade.
IET Group of Institutions takes the pride for spearheading the educational revolution in Rajasthan by pioneering the establishment of the first Private Engineering institute in the state of Rajasthan in 1988. It is also promoted by the A.I.S.A.E.R. (All India Society for Advance Education & Research), New Delhi.
At AIET, we provide B.Tech. courses in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering,Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Bio-Medical Engineering and Post-Graduate course in Business Management. The institute provides excellent environment for co-and-extra-curricular activities and for self-governance. All concerned segments of the AIET family, be they the students, faculty or staff is keen in their quest for seeking excellence in pedagogy, research and corporate living. Strong emphasis is placed on practical aspects of teaching integrated with life skill development.
Its fee structure is INR 47,000 per annum.
AIET has got tremendous infrastructure and well equipped facility academically and socially.
AIET, has a well furnished central library and fully equipped gym facility for both boys and girls. AIET also provides hostel facilities with a total capacity of 2000 students. A fleet of college buses are available to provide transport facility to students and staff.

The Institute endeavors promoting partnership between existing and prospective businesses and education by preparing every student to become one of the best human resource available. It understands the need of providing a learning atmosphere to make possible for the students to train themselves either for a good job in the competitive world or establish themselves as successful entrepreneurs.
The aim of the Institute is to provide a constructive value in shaping the career of the students through personal and career related support with the help of in-house experts and experts drawn from professional agencies and conducting in-house and external trainings to the students on employability skills, interpersonal skills and give ample opportunities for the young minds to sharpen their intellect, analytical thinking, develop a positive attitude to life and mould themselves to the various requirements of the industries.

The Institute has All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India funded projects established in the college campus.
