This college was founded in 1963 by Arulmigu Dandayudapani Swami Tirukoil Pilani. The motto of it's establishment is not only the the fulfillment of long left need but also the overall development in the educational system of this district. It was affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University in 1969. It is run under te guidance of HR and CE Department Chennai. It has well established infrastructure including all the facilities for the students for their bright and sunshine future.
It has good placement record as most of the students of this college got placed in the reputated organizations. The placement cell helps students in their placement activities or their bright future.
