Post Matric Scholarships 2013- 14 for Students of Delhi belonging to the Minority community
Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India , invites online applications from the students belonging to the Minority Communities notified by the Central Government (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Parsi & Budhist) pursuing education from Class XI to Ph.D. and vocational and Technical Courses of Industrial Training Institutes/Industrial Training Centres (affiliated with NCVT) in Government/Aided School/College/ lnstitute or private School/College/ lnstitute recognized by approved authority for Post-Matric Scholarship (Fresh/Renewal) to be awarded by the for the year 2013-14.
The scheme is specifically meant for Minority students having proof of residence of Delhi. The scholarships is to be awarded for studies in India only.
Eligibility:
(a) Students should have not less than 50% marks in the previous final examinations. Students from BPL families, having the lowest income shall be given preference in the ascending order.
(b) A scholarship holder under this plan will not avail of any other scholarship/stipend for pursuing the same course.
(c) The annual income from all source, of the students’ parents/guardian should not exceed to Rs 2 lakh.
(d) Attested copys of mark-sheet of the previous examination passed be enclosed from School/ College/lnstitute.
(e) Proof of Permanent residence.
(f) Original fee slips or duly attest fee slip.
(g) Aadhar card seeded Bank account should be in the name of applicant.
Conditions for Scholarship (Renewal):
Student who was selected for scholarships in, 2009-10, 2010-11.2011-12 & 2012-13 under this scheme and still successfully continuing his/her studies in the same course should apply for Renewal.

Actual financial assistance will be provided for course fee/tuition fee and maintenance allowance as given below subject to a maximum ceiling indicated against item concerned:Admission and tuition fee for classes XI and XII: For both Hosteler and Day Scholar, actual subject to a maximum limit of Rs. 7000 p.a.
Admission and course/ tuition fee for technical and vocational courses of XI and XII level, (Include fees/Charges for raw material,) For both Hosteller and Day Scholar, actual subject to a maximum limit of Rs. 10,000 p.a.
Admission and tuition fee for undergraduate, post graduate: For both Hosteler and Day Scholar, actual subject to a maximum limit of Rs. 3000p.a Maintenance allowance for 10 Months only in an academic year(Includes expenses for study material)
(i)Classes XI and XII including technical and vocational courses of this level for Hosteler Rs. 380 p.m. and Day Scholar Rs. 230 p.m.
(ii) Courses other than technical and professional course at undergraduate and post graduate level for Hosteler Rs. 570 p.m. and Day Scholar Rs 300 p.m.
(iii) M.Phil and Ph.D. (For those researchers who are not awarded and fellowship by university or any other authority) for Hosteler Rs. 1200 p.m. and Day Scholar Rs. 550 p.m.

Eligible applicant are advised to apply online and take print outs of the duly filled-in application forms, through Online Scholarship Management System and submit the same along with all supporting documents through their respective institutions to the State VUT Department as per time line mention below.
