Shri Vishnu College of Pharmacy, Godavari  was established in 1997 under the aegis of the Dr. B. V. Raju Foundations and Shri Vishnu Educational Society. The College is affiliated to Andhra University accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The College is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

The objective of the college is to provide an excellent opportunity to acquire specific skills and purse their intellectual development and contribute towards the empowerment of students. The Liberalization and Globalization of economy has brought the new opportunities and challenges in all areas of human endeavor including education. The vision and mission of the institution is well communicated to the students, teachers, staff and other stakeholders through various means like labeling on all printed material of the college.
