Shree Venkateshwara Hi-Tech Engineering College, an institution for achivers, gifted with a serene atmosphere, is situated at Othakuthirai, near Gobichettipalayam. The College was found by Shree Venkateshwara Educational and Charitable Trust in the year 2008 with the divine aim of educating the students of rural background. It inculcates in them the technical and innovative skills catering to the dire need of the present scenario. It imparts professionalism and critical thinking in them, and prepares them for a dynamic engineering career. It sensitizes the students to uphold academic excellence and become technically complement.
Shree Venkateshwara Educational & Charitable Trust is constituted with a long cherished dream to start an educational institution, combining the virtues of a temple of art and culture, a dedicated Institution that blends discipline with freedom, endeavouring to raise an integrated Personality. It has got approval from the AICTE, New Delhi to start Shree Venkateshwara Hi -Tech Engineering College during this academic year 2008 - 09, in Othakuthirai village near Gobi, to provide techno oriented meritorious Education for the students of this locality. The College collects only the fees fixed by the Government of Tamilnadu and the trust magnanimously came forward to weaver concession in fees for meritorious students and physically challenged students. This humanitarian act of the trust attracts many downtrodden and economically unsound students to get them admitted in our college, thereby developing their social status by which they can render very good service to our nation.
