MECRC was established in the year 2003 with the sole aim to impart quality education to the young talent of Marwar. It is one of the pioneer institutes in the State of Rajasthan. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and is affiliated to the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. MECRC offers degree courses in the following core engineering subjects:

Since the year of establishment 2003, we have left no stone unturned to capture the best & impart the best. From the very start, we had a vision to attain perfection in our Under Graduate Programme and after a span of 8 years, having maintained a decent level in our Under Graduate Programme, we ardently desire to take on to the next higher plane in education. Now, it's the right time for us to sow the seeds for Post Graduate Programme.

Over the years, there have been phenomenal ameliorations at MECRC, be it academics, research or infrastructure, to keep up with the current tide of competition. The Campus is located on the outskirts of Jodhpur City; it's spread over an area of 15 acres. The campus has lush green lawns with proper parking area for the vehicles. The college ambience is quite student-friendly with ultra-modern infrastructure and other amenities. The college has its own fleet of buses to ply from the campus to the City of Jodhpur. The campus environment has been tastefully designed with ample greenery. The architectural layout of the building has been such that every nook and corner is provided with natural light, air and ventilation.
MECRC is located in Jodhpur City, which is also known as "SunCity". Jodhpur is well-connected with Rail, Road and Air. MECRC is 22 kms. from Jodhpur Railway Station. National Highway No. 112 comes up to MECRC.

In academic session 2010-2011, MECRC organized various campus interviews in the college. The companies that visited the college to recruit the students of B.Tech. Final Year (all branches) were:

17th Dec’09
MECRC organized a campus interview in the college on 17th Dec’09. HCL BPO visited the college to recruit the students of B. Tech. Final Year(all branches). It was conducted under the leadership of Amit Khandelwal (Team Leader, HCL BPO).
