Mahaveer Institute of Science and Technology, Hyderabad was established in 2001-2002 by Mahaveer Educational Society with the approval of AICTE and Government of Andhra Pradesh. The institution is affiliated to JNT University, Hyderabad. The College is very close to the city between two national highways. Such a location of the college saves the precious time of students. The college has evolved from a humble to a full-fledged institution with courses in demand added every year, since its inception. The Institute was started with CSE, ECE, and EEE branches; later Mechanical Engineering and IT course were added. The expansion was further done with the addition of MBA and MCA courses. And in 2006 with the introduction of M. Tech in ECE and EEE branches its status was further enhanced to postgraduate level.
