The Tamil Nadu Educational and Medical Trust (TEAM Trust) was founded in 1972 with a view to provide high quality Technical and Medical Education in Tamil Nadu. PROMOTER TRUSTEES OF TEAM TRUST Sri. Dayachand Savansukha A humble beginning of service to the society began with the establishment of Dhanaraj Baid Jain College (Arts & Science) in 1972. The relentless pursuit of service exhibited by the Founder Trustees of Team Trust, particularly the efforts of Dr. C.L. Metha, Sri.M.Lalchand Munoth – the chairman of the Trust, who made a handsome donation of Rs. 10 lakhs, enabled the start of Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Polytechnic in 1984. Which is named after Sri. Misrimal Navajee Munoth, father of Sri. M. Lalchand Munoth. With the rich educational administrative experience of the trustees and the zeal of Dr.C.L.Metha, supported by many donors, several philanthropists, well wishers and the Directorate of Technical Education, the polytechnic made an all round progress. A further donation of Rs.15 lakhs by Sri. M. Lalchand Munoth and the approval of AICTE, New Delhi, enabled the polytechnic to be upgraded into Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Engineering College, which started functioning from the academic year 1994-1995. The unwavering commitment, administrative dynamism and foresighted guidance of Late Dr. C.L.Metha, faithfully followed by his son Shri. Harish L Metha have enabled Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Engineering College to successfully complete 12 years of its service. The Late Founder Secretary Dr. C.L. Metha’s noble policy “No Capitation fees” in any sort or form, a unique philosophy for engineering education is strictly followed under the stewardship of Shri. Harish L Metha, who is the present Secretary and Correspondent. Dr. V.K.R. Jeyasingh was principal since inception to 2006 - 07. For the Academic year 2007 - 08 Dr. J. Pattabiraman was principal. From the Academic year 2008 - 09 onwards Dr. G.B. Jaiprakash Narain has taken charge as principal Affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE, Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Engineering College offers B.E / B.Tech. Placement

The Department has all the facilities required for conducting campus interviews. A large auditorium and an air-conditioned hall, Public address system, Computer system, Multimedia projector, High speed internet connection for faster communication are all available. Many reputed companies visit the college to conduct campus interviews. Our students also take part in Tamilnadu State Level Placement Program, Combined campus interviews, Job fairs etc. Students are also educated about the opportunities available in Public sector companies. Students were given practical training in COMMUNICATION SKILLS like Presentation Skills, G D Tehniques, Soft skills and Interview Skills.
