With an aim to inculcate professional excellence with National Commitment, KTUJM came into existence through act no. 24 of Dec. 2004, of the Chhattisgarh Govt. Formally the University was inaugurated on 16th April 2005 at Raipur, by Shri Atal Bihari Vajpaee. The University has an administrative wing, well equipped classrooms, faculty rooms, library, Computer lab, Audio-Visual studio, Language lab and other necessary infrastructure. KTUJM is a public university, accredited by the UGC and also an active member of the AIU.                                               The university is located within a spacious campus at Kota stadium, Raipur. The distance between the University campus and the nearest railway station is roughly 6 km. Airport is around 20 km. The present campus has office, well equipped classrooms, faculty rooms, library, Computer lab, Audio-Visual studio, Language lab and other necessary infrastructure. Steps are being taken to provide hostel accommodation facilities within the university campus; however private hostels for students are available within the area.
