Eligibility for Admissions
Students are admitted to through single-window counselling as per the Tamilnadu Government norms and also under Management Quota.
The pre-requisite for admission to KTVR KPET is a pass in the twelfth standard of Tamilnadu H.S.C (Academic) or an equivalent examination recognized by Anna University with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. In case of direct admission to the second year (Lateral Entry), the candidate should have passed the Diploma Examination in Engineering / Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamilnadu or an equivalent examination.
Number of appearances, minimum marks and other criteria for admission to B.E/B. Tech Courses are as per AICTE and State Government norms.
PLACEMENT AND TRAINING - PHASE II
KTVR Knowledge Park for Engineering and Technology conducted the second phase of the placement and training programme for the final year students ECE, EEE, CSE and IT departments from 23rd to 25th June, 2011.
As a part of imparting the various skills needed for the students to make them equipped with the ingredients essential for placement, the team members J. Jhansi, Karthick, Amarnath, P. Kanimozhi from the Smart Training Resources conducted the sessions. The syllabus included quantitative ability, soft skills, general aptitude, reasoning and reading comprehension. This training helped the students in the better understanding of the placement and recruitment strategies.
