Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi(IIT-BHU),formaly known as Institute of Technology,Banaras Hindu University(IT-BHU) is a public engineering founded in 1919 and get the status of IIT in 2012.The Institute is designed with the Vision of "Work Is Workship"  to provide high quality of education in the surrounding.IT-BHU is a residential and co-educational insitute that spread within the large area of 1300 acers.IT-BhU produces graduate engineers with sound scientific and technological background with the support of highly qualified faculities and staff members but aalso has grown into a Centre which provide versatilePost-graduate traning and conduct advance research in the engineering and technology.IT-BHU supports various Festivals,Departmental Fest as Kashi Utkrsh to encourage the creativity of the students.
