About Dev Bhoomi Society and Other Colleges

Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology - Structure & Infrastructure

The Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology (DBIT) building presently extends over an area of 100,000 square feet. The majestic building has 25 lecture halls with state - of - art audio video facilities and three large conference halls with a seating capacity of over 1050 students.

In addition to classrooms, there are several required number of Laboratory Rooms for Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering related to the course curriculum, housed with latest lab equipments, measuring instruments and scientific modern gadgets & computers, for conducting purposeful experiments for practical and research / innovation. There are adequate numbers of hand operated and power operated machines & machine tools, supported by Jigs, Fixtures, Tools and Tackles in the separately constructed floors of workshops building / shed.

(DBIT) Under Graduate Programmes:

B. Tech (4 Years Engineering Degree Courses)

    * Mechanical Engineering (ME) – 60 Seats
    * Information Technology (IT) – 60 Seats
    * Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) – 60 Seats
    * Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) – 90 Seats
    * Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) – 60 Seats

    Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Maths & Chemistry/Computer Science.
    Duration: 4 Years comprising 8 Semesters, Full time regular engineering degree.

    Eligibility and Admission Procedure for B. Tech in Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology

    Seats are filled through All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), conducted by CBSE. Out of Total Seats, 50% Seats are for Uttarakhand domiciles and 35% for All India students. Counseling for these 85% Seats (Uttrakhand + All India) is conducted by the Uttrakhand Technical University.

    Management Quota Seats: The Remaining 15 % Seats are Management Seats including NRI Quota seats, for these 15% Seats admissions are done at the Institute level on the basis of merit as per AIEEE rank and guidelines of Govt. of Uttarakhand. Counseling for these management seats is held at the institute after the state Counseling gets over each year.
    NRI Seats: 5% of the total Seats are available for NRI Candidates.

    How to Apply for B. Tech in Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand:

    Students interested to apply for the admissions under management quota are required to register at the institute to be eligible for the Management quota counseling etc. Mere registration will not be the guarantee of the admission.
