Dayanand Education Society’s founder members understood the need of facilities of higher education. In order to achieve the over all progress and prosperity of the region, under the aegis of Dayanand Education society a multifaculty colleges was started in 1961. Dayanand College of Arts came to have an independent existence in 1970. At present there are 13 Under- Graduate and 05 Post- Graduate Departments. 03 Research Centers [English, Hindi and Marathi] are also added to the existing programmes. M.Phil (Hindi) and Ph.D programmes provide research scholars of the region opportunity and facility of academic excellence.
