ll School and College programmes of both learning and enjoyment aim “To the Highest," the motto of All Saints' which exemplifies its creed. The cadre of student leaders, house and inter-house competitions, exhibitions of project work, talent search opportunities through music, dance, elocution, drama, sports, karate, quiz-programmes, seminars etc. are all part of the system that provides students, as well as their teachers and parents, with opportunities to become achievers and winners certainly, but also to feel the thrill of sharing more in the fellowship of participation and support than in winning, more in a sense of belonging and loyalty than in attainment, in mutual trust and co-operation that brings with it a feeling of pride and exhilaration for school and college, inculcates patriotic sentiments and envisages national goals. It is therefore but natural for the students to be in the forefront in contributing to their country's need to alleviate the sufferings of the underprivileged, and in times of national crises, by sacrificing a material pleasure and earning their donations by doing a labour or love. The mind-set that such attitudes and work develop is the hallmark of Miss Auer's ideal of true education.

Placement

The Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of ASCT. Training activities are organized throughout the year as an effort to prepare prospective candidates for campus selection programmes. T & P Cell advices and assists in career-oriented decisions. The Placement Office is responsible for forwarding students' data to various companies and thereafter arranging placement programmes. The T & P Cell also selects eligible candidates for open campus selections by companies and at other colleges.

Regular visits by industrial houses of national repute are organised for campus recruitment programmes. The placement cell coordinates effectively with the corporate sector and provides well-developed infrastructure to facilitate campus selection programmes.

In order to meet manpower requirements of Industry, we at ASCT place great value on collaborating with industry to ensure that our students acquire the requisite knowledge, skill and aptitude through practical training in Industry. Students, on completion of their VI semester of B.E. have to undergo Summer Training in Industry during the summer break. This training is an integral part of the curriculum and is aimed at making the students acquainted with the processes, practices as well as the rigour and complexities of the industrial world.

We also conduct soft skill classes for overall personality development to improve on Communication Skills, Presentation Acumen, Aptitude, Interview techniques, Group discussion competencies. We also have provision for yoga training to manage stress and prepare them for successful careers.

Individual need-based training and encouragement is given to the student, who appears for the campus placements while applauding the selected candidates. We also provide intensive support and remedial measures for those who are not selected for jobs in their first attempt.
